He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lee Sumrall; his children, Norris Reginald Sumrall, Jr. (Becky), Alan Ray Sumrall, Kimberly Ann Shaw (Lucien), Trina Kay Pelot (Sonny), Gaines Patrick Sumrall (Simone) and Ernest Newton Sumrall (Corinna); and his stepchildren, Wayne Dawson (Ceceila) and Shelia Juana Schultz. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
