He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Brooks McAllister; his parents, Elonzo McAllister and Mattie McAllister; and his siblings, Leroy, William McAllister, Jacquette Dubosky and Nove Jo Chavis.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Susan Fisher (Wayne) of Destin, FL and Jim Brooks of Lawrenceburg, TN. He is also survived by several grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
