She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Martin and Ruby Johnson Martin; and her siblings, Paul Martin, Jr., Leland "Buddy" Martin, William "Billy" Martin, Athelene "Lena" Rowell, Maydean Braddock, Judith "Judy" Ragon and Ruby Pauline "Polly" Ross.
She is survived by: her brothers, Terry Martin (Peggy) and Randy Martin (Mary) of Eldorado, Arkansas.; her sisters-in-law, Jerilynn "Connie" Naquin (Carroll), Rosary "Doonie" Kern (George) and Sue Talley Martin Bell; her husband Bari Matherne; her children, Bari "BJ" Matherne, Jr. and Whitney Matherne Rulite (Shawn); and her grandchildren, Peyson Bradshaw, Cameryn Rulite and Dresden Rulite.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (12290 Depew Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503). A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
