We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Richard William Schouw of Gulfport, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his daughter Anne Schouw of Washington, DC; his grandson Andrew Schouw of California; and his brother Charles Schouw of Arizona.
While living in Gulfport, Dick led a Saturday morning men's Bible study under an oak tree in North Gulfport, worked with Harrison County RSVP, worked with 8 Days of Hope to serve others with disaster relief, served on the LVPOA Board of Directors and was dedicated to serving his church, First Baptist Church of Long Beach, MS.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to Deaconess Hospice Care who graciously helped in Dick's final days of in home care.
