He was predeceased by: his parents, John Difiore and Louise Morrell Difiore; and his wife Virginia Anne Lambert Difiore. He is survived by: his sons, Richard (Deborah) of West Virginia, Paul (Denise) of New Hampshire, David (Beth) of Massachusetts and Peter (Suzanne) of Rhode Island. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
