He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshal Atha A. Knight and Dovie Doris Warren Knight; and his friend Nancy J. Phillips. He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Elaine Knight Hill (Luther) of Trinity, FL and Mary Susan Knight Cain (Joey); his nieces and nephews, Dawn E. Beatty (Brent) of Land, Molly C. Cain of Gulfport, J. Remy Cain III and Corey A. Cain (Erin) of Nashville, TN; his great-nephew Hank Cain; and his great-niece Drew Cain of Nashville. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home (11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503).
