He was predeceased by: his grandmother Adelyn Icard of New Orleans; and his parents, Lawrence Roy and Adelyn Roy of Labadieville, LA.. He is survived by: his close friend Martha Delahoussaye Harvey; his children, Jennifer Roy and Rob Roy (Hannah); his grandchildren, Jordan Roy, Jude Roy and Lilith Roy; his siblings, Andrew Roy of Thibodaux, LA, Glenn Roy of Houma, LA and Sandra Bolette of Labadieville, LA; and his daughter Mary Madere Roy of Poplarville, MS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
