With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Wayne Alewine Sr. of Gulfport, Mississippi, who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Alewine and Ileen Goodwin Alewine; and his siblings, Larry Alewine, Lois Alewine, Evelyn Alewine and Miriam Alewine.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Anne" Sox Alewine of Franklin, NC; his children, Lindy Blanton (Jerry) of Franklin, NC. and Wayne Alewine (DeAnn) of Gulfport, MS; his sisters, Pat Miles and Nettie Alewine of Lexington, SC; his grandchildren, Tyler Blanton (April), Logan Blanton (Rebekah), Ryland Alewine, Savannah Alewine and Skylar Alewine; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Alewine and Camilla Fisher.

Mask and social distancing required.
