He is survived by : his spouse Hartense Gillum; his daughters, Patty Laverne and Donna Dionne Ford; his brothers, Joseph H. and James A. Ford; his grandchildren, Jason Ford Joshua Dedeaux, LaChara Dedeaux, Deniyah Jackson, Emijah Dedeaux, Jayden Williams and Jamarie Satterthwaite; his nieces, Rolanda Bradley (Orenthain), Angela McKay (Tommy), Kelly Singleton, Veronica McCord and Joanne Ford; his nephew James A. Ford Jr.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Keica Champ-Walker and Tomika Watts; and his sister-in-law Lenora Ford.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the J. T. Hall Funeral Home Chapel (1910 31st Ave, Gulfport, MS 39501).
