He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Jean Sowers (Dearth) and William Robert Sowers. He is survived by: his sister Stephanie L. Ford (John) of Ocean Springs; his sons, Trevor R. Sowers (Katherine) of Gulfport, Mississippi, Mathew J. Sowers (Amy) of Tecumseh, Michigan and Stephen A. Sowers (Jamie) of Tecumseh, Michigan; the mother of his children Susan Amstutz of Clinton, Michigan.; and his grandchildren, Dahlia Sowers, Jonah Sowers, Evie Sowers of Tecumseh and William Sowers of Gulfport, Mississippi..
