We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2025, at the age of 84, Vessen Magee Jr. (Gulfport, Mississippi), born in Jackson, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vessen Magee, Sr. and Myrtis McNeill Neelly; his stepfather Paul E. Neelly; his brother Ronald "Ronnie" C. Magee; and his pet Little Cat.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kay" McCord Magee; his children, Kathie Ladner (Scott) of Gulfport and David Magee (Melanie) of Heath, Texas; his grandchildren, Michelle Borho (Andrew), Amanda Jo Brand (Will), Michael Ladner (Kate), Lauren Magee and Evan Magee; and his brother Dr. Charles V. Magee (Chuck) of Alachua, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
