He is survived by: his wife Nellie; his daughters, Christina Hartfield and Amanda Ryan; his son-in-law Jeff Ryan; his grandsons, Ethan Adair and Parker Ryan; and his sister Paula Monterede.
He dedicated his life's work to the healthcare profession, serving as the CEO of Sleep Services of America and as a board member for the American Lung Association.
