He is survived by: his children, Michael Payne (Becky), Bobby Joe McLendon (Tina), Pam Swilley (Carl) and Vickie Rhodes (Larry); his brother-in-law Lawson Stroud; his son-in-law Ray Bottin; and his grandchildren, Jennifer McLendon (Curtis Sanders), Justin McLendon (Christie), Jeremy McLendon (Marcille), April Ladner (Cody), Pam Fogle (Ross), Bobby Bottin (Amy), Amy Williams (Lee), Gypsy Shemper, Matthew McLendon (Alison), Deedy Creel (Jerry), Leslie Swilley (Amanda), Bonnie Sims (Mark), Jasen McLendon (Christina), Reagan Feeley (Daniel) and Zachary Payne. He is also survived by his 27 great grandchildren; his one great great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
