He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey York and Bertha Lee Rico York; and his siblings, Phyllis Gordon, Tommy York, Harvey, Omagee Farrell and Billy York.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann York of Gunnison, MS.; his son Darryl York (Melissa) of Cleveland, MS; his grandsons, Noah York (Whitney) and Ethan York; and his great grandchild Luna York. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
