He is survived by: his wife Debbie McBrayer Hayes of Guntown; his sons, Charles Hayes of Starkville and Brian Austin (Jessica) of Saltillo; his brother James Hayes of Jackson; and his grandchildren, Evan Boeding (Alexis), Callie Hayes, Peyton Hayes, John Bucy Long, Maggie Austin, Jude Austin and Jasper Austin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Waters Funeral Home (309 N 2nd St, Baldwyn, MS 38824).
