He was loved and cherished by many people including : his daughters, Barbara Sue Barton Gillespie (James) and Rebecca Linn Barton Duffie (Bradley); his sisters, Margie Lynn Barton and Lajuana Jo Barton Thomas (Robert); his grandchildren, Bethany Michelle Nichols (Daniel), David Micheal Gillespie (Stephanie), David Clifford Barton (Kristie), Lauren Paige Beasley (Mikale), Jackson Samuel Clinton and Jacob Ryan Clinton; his significant other Naomi Ruth Smith Barton; his parents, Clifford Truman Barton and Walterrene Ellard Barton; his children, Jimmie Don Barton, Jr. and Jacqueline Paige Barton; and his sister Ann Barton Gillespie (Jerry). He was also cherished by numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephew.
