She was predeceased by : her parents, David Arnold and Irene Harris; her husband Paul Roper; her siblings, Betty McLarty and James Lamar Harris; and her daughter-in-law Lillie Roper.

She is survived by : her children, Donald Roper of Guntown, Cleveland Roper of Guntown, Tony Roper of Guntown and Cindy Scott (Sammie) of Guntown; and her brother Junior Harris of Saltillo. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
