It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Bagwell of Hamilton, Mississippi, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Lewis and Maribeth Lewis; her former husband Buzz Hurt; her mother-in-law Sharon Self; and her sister-in-law Angela Self.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Bagwell; her children, Emily Mitchell (Austin) and Byron Hurt (Dana); her stepchildren, Chris Bagwell (Rebecca) and Beth Bagwell; her grandchildren, Drew Mitchell, Emma Moore, Maddie House, Sophie House, Liam Hurt, Logan Hurt and Noah Hurt; her siblings, Jerry Lewis (Rhonda) and Jane Lewis; and her sister-in-law Jennifer Bray (Daniel). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
