He is survived by : his children, Chad Pounders (Jennifer), Brandy Carter and Mitzie Darty; his grandchildren, Jace Carter, Jaclyn Carter, Emma Kate Pounders, Evan Pounders, Ellie Pounders, Stuart Coggins and Charlie Coggins; his nephew Vann Patterson; and his niece Bridget King.
