She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Grace Anderson and Franklin Marlin Hazelwood; and her brother-in-law Mike Shutze. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Cochran; her children, Kelly Greer (Kyle) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Brent Cochran (Jennifer) of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Kylie Greer, Kaitlyn Greer, Carsyn Cochran and Cade Cochran; her sister Martha Shutze of Taylorsville, Mississippi; her nephews, Matthew Shutze, John Michael Shutze and Scott Shutze; and her niece Stephanie Meador.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home (205 Bay St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at the Highland Cemetery (3401 W 7th St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund. The family has chosen to send donations to Alzheimer's Association Donate Now (https://www.alz.org).
