With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David L. Stafford of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Rose Stafford; his parents, Wilford Stafford and Jessie Stafford; and his siblings, Fred Stafford, Melvin Stafford, Chirstene Stafford Kirkley, Lorene Stafford Poley and Graple Stafford Jones.
He is survived by: his daughters, Duana Brown of Purvis, Vickey Saucier of Livingston, TX and Cathy Marchal of Oak Grove; and his grandchildren, Teri Williamson (Blake), Sheri Hatten (Chris), Robert Saucier, Jr. (Holly), Kimberly Williams (Migel), Lacy Brown and Holly Saucier. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jones & Son Funeral Home-Hattiesburg (6842 US-98, Hattiesburg, MS 39402). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Magnolia Memorial Cemetery (61 Hillcrest Dr, Hattiesburg, MS 39402).
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mr. Stafford to St. Jude or Calvary Baptist Church of Oak Grove.
