He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Daniel Olmsted and Wendell Olmsted; his sister Mary Louise Evans; and his niece Cheryle Ann Evans. He is survived by: his wife Janet Crawford Olmsted of Hattiesburg; his children, Don Gregory Olmsted of Pensacola, Dr. Blake Robert Olmsted (Susan) of Hattiesburg and Kimberly Olmsted Miller (Greg) of Dallas, Texas.; his grandchildren, Wesley Sutton Miller, Wyatt Allen Miller, Luke Roberts Olmsted and Margaret Grace Olmsted; his niece JoEllen Mitchell (Shelby) of Clinton; and his nephew Harold J. Evans Jr. of Alpharetta.
