Eddie Lee Packer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Lee Packer (Hattiesburg, Mississippi), who passed away on June 15, 2025, age 85, leaving to mourn family and friends.
Eddie retired from the Hattiesburg Public School system after a career marked by a commitment to service to his community. He was the son of Christine Packer and George Packer Sr., both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Eddie is survived by two sisters: Wilma Webb of California and Carolyn Smith of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. His memory will be cherished by those who knew him and whose lives were touched by his presence.
A dedication ceremony was held in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, honoring his life and legacy. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
