He was predeceased by : his parents, Charley Walker and Hallie Ware Walker; his siblings, Ruthie Mae Haile, Hazel Reese, James Walker and Robert Ed Walker; and his half-siblings, Maggie Yates, Ola Mae Sanders, Clara McNair, Virginia Dale, Solomon Walker and Joseph Nevel Walker.

He is survived by : his wife Bertha Sue Walker of Hattiesburg, MS; his children, Howard Walker (Katie) of Sumrall, MS and Glenna Rasco (Clay) of Sumrall, MS; his siblings, Annie Marie Roberts of Clinton, MS, Nell Fairley (C. L.) of Lucedale, MS and Thomas Walker of Hattiesburg, MS; and his grandchildren, Ashtyn of Sumrall, MS., Katelyn of Sumrall, MS., Karrie Ann Walker of Sumrall, MS., Lyla of Sumrall, MS. and Trent Rasco of Sumrall, MS..

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Heritage Church (3 Baracuda Dr, Hattiesburg, MS 39402). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Heritage Church.
