It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald S. Britt (Hattiesburg, Mississippi), who passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Britt and Ann Britt. He is survived by: his daughters, Christy Daniell (Breck) of Hattiesburg and Julie Ray (David) of Hattiesburg; his grandchildren, Reagan King (Wade), Micah Daniell, Abby Kate Daniell, Breanna Finley (Bryce), Avery Robinson and Samuel Robinson; his great grandchild Waylon Finley; and his siblings, John M. Britt (Pat) of Atlanta, GA and Debbie Simpson (Ken) of Haughton, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Gerald's wish was for friends to make donations to Veterans of Foreign War Post 3036, 210 Ronnie Street, Hattiesburg, MS 39401.
