He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennett Graydon Rushton and Ruth Louise Ayscue Rushton; and his sisters, Celia Ann Hickman and Alma Delores Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Hill Rushton; and his children, Laura Virginia "Ginny" Ingram (Terry) of Sumrall, Alvin Jackson "Jackie" Rushton (Teresa) of Deatsville, Deana Yvonne Ponder (Larry) of Hattiesburg and Cary Thomas Rushton (Jennifer) of Laurel, Mississippi. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
