He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Aust and Iola Aust; and his siblings, Margaret Kemp (Joe), Wallace Maurice Aust (Maratha Joe), Limuel Hunt Aust (Phyllis) and Vashti Marie Aust.
He is survived by: his daughter Tara Courtney (Greg); his grandchildren, Lauren Catheryne Courtney (New Orleans) and Austin Gregory Courtney (Jillian Morison); his great grandchild Charlotte Elisabeth Courtney; and his siblings, Martha Grace Aust Flemister (Steve), Mary Elouise McConville (Bill) and Larry Aust (Frances). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
