He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Pearl Hines Bishop and James C. Bishop, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Dentra S. Bishop; his children, John B. Bishop, Kelley E. Bishop and Katie S. Bishop; and his siblings, L. Gail Bishop, Lynn N. Bishop and Dr. John H. Bishop. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the University Baptist Church (3200 W Arlington Loop, Hattiesburg, MS 39402).
