He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Roscoe Cronin and Mamie Morris Cronin; and his brothers, Irvin Howard Cronin (Dolores), John L. Cronin, Donald Joseph Cronin (Gloria), Ralph Curtis Cronin (Judith) and Lawrence Wayne Cronin.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Beacham Cronin (Mary Beth); his children, Kelly Cronin (Angela) of Hattiesburg, MS, Melanie Cronin of Hattiesburg, MS, Kimberly Avalle (Esteban) of Saratoga Springs, UT, Jesse Cronin (Jana) of Rancho Cordova, CA and Joseph Cronin (Whitney) of Hattiesburg, MS.; and his siblings, Bonnie Jean Barlow (late Edward Barlow) of Clinton, MS and Jim Cronin (Cora) of Clinton, MS.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (2502 Old Hwy 24, Hattiesburg, MS 39402). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
