He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Portis (Kenosha) of Las Vegas, NV and Janina Portis of Hattiesburg, MS; his grandchildren, Amya and Christopher Donald, Jr.; his daughters, Mary E. Portis of Roosevelt, NY, Willie R. Phillips of Houston, TX and Lenda Dedrick of Bridgeport, CT; his brother-in-law James C. Smith of Hattiesburg, MS; his cousin Peggy Scott of Hattiesburg, MS; his close friend Debbie Woullard of Hattiesburg, MS; his grandson Tyler; his godson Benjamin Carter of Atlanta, GA; Jonathan Pace. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
