With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Anne Walker (Hattiesburg, Mississippi), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on February 20, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Flavius Hall and Bertha Hall; her former life partner Benjamin F. Bell; her husband Howard D. Walker; and her brother James F. Hall.

She is survived by : her children, Judy Wallace (Blake), Peggy Hall (Bobby), Jan Hammond (Bob), Susan Sanders (Claude) and John Walker (Denise); her grandchildren, B. J. Smith, Daniel Bell, Jessica Smith, Carrington Townsend (Davis), Drew Dews (Meredith), Hillary Marchi (Nick), Katherine Dillenkoffer (Matt), Elena Beplay (Byron), Joe King and Evan Walker (Miranda); and her sister-in-law Ginny S. Hall. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
