It is with sadness that the passing of Joyce Ramona Reid Griffin of Hattiesburg, Mississippi is shared. Joyce, born on February 8, 1932, passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elliott Wesley Reid and Fennie Mae Dudley Reid; her husband Tom Griffin; her brother Horace Elliott Reid; and her grandson Micah Wesley Griffin.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas W. Griffin, Jr. (Caren) and Wesley D. Griffin (Amy); and her grandchildren, Thomas Griffin III (Sally), Reid Griffin (Harley), Eve Griffin, Aaron Griffin (Erin) and Nathan Griffin. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home (205 Bay St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Venture Church, Hattiesburg.
