He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Royals (Hinton) and A. G. Royals. He is survived by: his wife Mary Clare Royals; his brother James "Bubba" Royals; his children, Alex L. Royals, Tyler A. Royals (Jordan) and Margaret Rose Albritton (George); his granddaughter Adeline V. Royals; and his son Ty. He is also survived by friends with all the neighbors and animals.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 115 N 25th Avenue, Hattiesburg MS 39401 in the name of Larry Royals.
