We are sad to announce that, on August 3, 2025, at the age of 77, Micala McMurrian of Hattiesburg, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Micala departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Micala may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Micala leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Master Sargeant Lucien and Ruth Hamner; and her husband Robert McMurrian. She is survived by: her sons, Scott McMurrian (Christy) of Hattiesburg, MS and Kevin McMurrian (Katrina) of Franklin, TN; her grandchildren, Scott Taylor McMurrian (Lydia) of New Albany, MS, Cassidy Barone (Andrew) of Littleton, CO and Annie McMurrian of Marietta, GA; her great grandchild Crew Barone of Littleton, CO; her sister Ruth Hancock (Ronnie) of Beaumont, TX.; and her pet Mom.
