He was predeceased by: his sister Kelley Elizabeth Humphreys. He is survived by: his wife Lindsey Jones Humphreys; his son Bradford Scott Humphreys; and his parents, Michelle Humphreys and Ray Humphreys.

In honor of his dedication and in celebration of his legacy, the Humphreys have established the Michael Chandler Humphreys, DMD Dental-Medical Annual Scholarship Fund at the University of Southern Mississippi Foundation.
