He was predeceased by: his parents, J. G. Wharton and Lena Wharton. He is survived by: his wife Tiffany Wharton; his children, Eric Wharton (Elise), Kristen Brimer (Chris) and Brittney Wharton (David); his grandchild Callie Brimer; his sisters, Evelyn Tucker and Johnnie Wharton; and his nephews, Mike and Toby Brown.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hartman Jones Funeral Home (1801 Delaware Ave, McComb, MS 39648). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hollywood Cemetery (900 Pennsylvania Ave, McComb, MS 39648).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project or to Revolution Fitness.
