She was predeceased by: her husband James "Cotton" Parish, Sr.; her parents, Richard Sumrall and Rosa Lee Sumrall; and her siblings, Mary Barr, Glennie Kampe and Willie Richard Sumrall, Jr. (Parish).
She is survived by: her children, James "Jim" Parish, Jr. (Alison) of Hattiesburg, MS and Janice Strack (David) of Hattiesburg, MS. She is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
