He is survived by: his wife Julie Allen Dement of Hattiesburg, MS; his sons, Gary Dement (Van) of Hattiesburg, MS and Bryan Dement (Melissa) of Ovett, MS.; his sisters, Jackie Dement, Nellie Dement Jones and Jane Dement; his grandchildren, Heather Watson, Andrew Watson (Josey) and Zachary Watson; his great grandchild Brantley Robertson; and his sister Geneva Dement.
