He is survived by: his wife Sue Cooper; his children, Jennifer Minton (Manning) and Preston Cooper; his grandchildren, William Minton (Alley), Emily Minton and Matthew Minton; and his sisters, Retha Schanrock and Juanice Ballard (Teddy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Providence Baptist Church (1180 Eatonville Rd, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery (1180 Eatonville Rd, Hattiesburg, MS 39401).
