He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Buxton and Mallie Buxton; and his siblings, Faye Gunter, Diane Grantham and Don Buxton.
He is survived by: his son Brandon Buxton of Natchez, MS; his sister Tammi Dawson of Madison, MS; and his sister-in-law Dot Buxton of South Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Magnolia Memorial Gardens (61 Hillcrest Dr, Hattiesburg, MS 39402).
