He was predeceased by: his father James Houston Alvis; and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Alvis and Tip Wilks. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Alvis; his siblings, Jim (Shannon), David, Cindy Wilks and Jennifer Myers (Jim); and his uncle Charles Walley (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
