In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Violet leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Violet may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Quave and Marie Quave; and her siblings, Clara Smith, Clarence Quave and Walter Quave.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Bass; her children, Todd Bass (Hope) and Shannon Yelverton (Jeff); her brother Dalton Quave (Brenda) of Baton Rouge, LA; her pet Stella; and her caregiver Christie Morrow. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Moore Funeral Service - Hattiesburg (805 Hardy St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Bassfield Cemetery.
