He was predeceased by: his father Waldo Hartel. He is survived by: his wife Myra Howell Hartel; his sons, Forrest (Maurie) and Bailey; his granddaughters, Ella and Vivi; his mother Betty Groome Hartel; his sister Becky (Jerry); and his nieces and nephews, Haden (Rhonda), Janna (Cody), Riley, Stella and Bryson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins he loved.
