He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard P. Hendry, Sr. and Pricilla Hendry; his wife Jannie Hayes Hendry; his son Willard Jackson Hendry; and his siblings, Hilda Adams and Raymond Hendry.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Hendry and Raymond Hendry; and his brothers, Randy Hendry (RW), James Hendry (Rocky) and Joseph Hendry. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren, Twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
He coached baseball for many years in Amite, LA, was past Master of the Masonic Lodge, and a past president of the Lions club and spent many years in service promoting the Children's Eye Foundation.
