He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudie Carr and Frankie Jackson Martin; and his siblings, Martha Jo Cowan and Nelson'Slim'Carr. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his daughter Niki Lowery (Donny); his granddaughters, Alayna Parker and Bella; his daughter Sheila Jasper (Michael); his granddaughter Emily Reinike (Hunter); his great grandchild Nolan; his son Kenneth Carraway (Meghan); his granddaughter Alyssa (Hayden); his great grandchild Kenlee; his grandchildren, Ayden and Aubrey; his children, Amanda Erwin (Malcolm), Cheyenne Carr and Bethany Carraway; his siblings, Ann Smith, David Jones (Alice) and John Paul Martin (Cindy); his nephew Shad Thornton; his great-nephew Alex Thornton; his nieces, Crystal Matthews, Alice Thornton, Dana Smith, Courtney and Christy Martin; and his pet Fred.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church (1189 Bethel Ln, Hazlehurst, MS 39083). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Georgetown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on behalf of the Jabo Carr family to Bethel Baptist Church; 1189 Bethel Ln, Hazlehurst, MS 39083, for funeral expenses.
