He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Davis Heard, Jr. and Sadie Elizabeth McDonald; and his brother Billy Earl Middleton. He is survived by: his wife Sue Berry Heard; his children, Dave Heard (Brandi) and Hollie Heard Cook (Andy); his brothers, Charles Heard (Judy), Dale Heard (Ginger), Dennis Middleton and Danny Wayne Middleton; his grandchildren, Maggie Heard and Carson Collier (Ellen); and his cousin Michael Barber. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
