He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Bailey of Hazlehurst and Freda Bailey of Jackson. He is survived by : his siblings, Charles Bailey and Nancy Bailey; his nephew Ben; and his niece Jennifer.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sebrell Funeral Home (425 Northpark Dr, Ridgeland, MS 39157). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery - Hazlehurst (6161 MS-472, Hazlehurst, MS 39083).
