She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jackson Fonseca and Hazel Mae DeRoche Fonseca; her husband Conner Reese Laiche; and her siblings, John Joseph Fonseca, Allen Fonseca and Betty Jean Guillory.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Laiche (Sonja), Terry Laiche (Angie), Steven Laiche and Holyn Laiche Davis (Larry); and her siblings, James Fonseca and Alice Leleux. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church (6161 MS-472, Hazlehurst, MS 39083). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
The family request memorials be made in her name to Bethel Cemetery Fund.
