She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Stewart and Nellie Stewart; her husband Don McClelland; and her sister Patsy Stewart Dockens. She is survived by: her children, Jan Mattingly, Julie Mattingly, John Mattingly (Jennifer) and C. Allen Knott; her grandchildren, Calla Smith (Jordan), Matthew Gaddy, Zach Mattingly (Morgan), Brynner Mattingly (Nikki) and Rett Mattingly; and her great grandchildren, Brooklynn Russ, Mackenzie Earles, Archie Mattingly, Jagger Smith, Asher Polk and Hadley Polk.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stringer Family Funeral Home - Hazlehurst Po (28023 MS-28, Hazlehurst, MS 39083). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tabernacle Methodist Church, and can be sent to 208 Ingleside Drive, Madison, MS 39110.
