He was predeceased by: his parents, J. R. Dear of Crystal Springs and Billie Neal Dear of Crystal Springs; and his brothers, Johnny Dear of Crystal Springs and Bob Dear of Hopewell. He is survived by: his niece Rená Brent (Garland); his great-niece Ella Brent; his nephew Kevin Dear (Natasha); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler Dear (Logan) and Tristan Dear; and his nephew Chase Dear.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Copiah Animal Shelter or to the mission fund at New Zion Baptist Church.
